Our journey began in the 1930’s as Taylor Instrument Companies of Canada Ltd., specializing in professional blood pressure equipment for hospitals and clinics, along with thermometers, barometers, and other precision instruments.

In the early 1970’s, we pioneered the first blood pressure monitor for home use, followed by Canada’s first digital monitor. This commitment to innovation continued when Thermor Limited acquired Taylor Canada in 1987, leading to the creation of BIOS Diagnostics. For over 30 years, we have remained at the forefront of home medical technology, enhancing the lives of Canadians with reliable and accessible healthcare products.
