Our Sustainability Initiative

My wife and I are wilderness hikers and we have been fortunate to trek in many remarkable places around the world. These areas are always pristine with spectacular beauty, but regardless of how remote we get, I am always amazed to find plastic waste, even in areas considered “inaccessible”. 

When plastic was invented over 100 years ago, it was said to be “the material with a 1000 uses”. Today, plastic is ubiquitous in consumer products and packaging. We know Canadians want less plastic in their packaging. BIOS Medical is committed to fully sustainable consumer packaging for each of our 2000+ BIOS items. This is a big project, but we are redesigning every BIOS consumer product to be environmentally sustainable.  Look for these logos on the products that have already met our “100% sustainable” goal.
