The temperature reading is visible on the LCD screen of the non-contact thermometer. The screen dimension is 3.2 by 2.8 inches or 8 by 7 centimeters. Under the temperature reading on the LCD screen is a LED light indicator in the shape of a line. It will light up green or red depending on the body temperature read. 

When the body temperature reading is normal, the line will be green. If, however, the body temperature is 37.5°C (99.5°F) or higher, it will light up red, and an alarm will sound ten times. 

The fever thermometer comes with a USB cable and adapter but it can be used with the supplied 3.7V 18650 rechargeable lithium battery. It can be mounted on a wall or used with a custom-designed stand. The custom designed telescopic stand has an adjustable height of 26.5 to 72.9 inches or 67.3 to 185 centimeters.
