Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring Kit - ABP-01
"Out-of-office" measurements are recommended by Hypertension Canada for diagnosis and indicated when:
- Fluctuating office readings occur
- White Coat hypertension is suspected
- Nocturnal hypertension is suspected
- Masked hypertension is suspected
- To establish "dipper status" (<10% is associated with increased risk of cardiovascular events)
- Resistance hypertension is suspected
- Pre-eclampsia
The data recorded while patients are ASLEEP and first thing in the morning provide insights that AWAKE measurements cannot.
